Avery y Matt contrataron a Memé Poppins por 20 dias.
Esta llegó volando justo cuando empezó el frío en Inglaterra.
Trajo calor familiar ultra-tropical para mantener la casa cálida,
excepcional experiencia cargando bebés,
duradera paciencia con niños rabiosos,
consejos de madre y esposa,
asesora de planeamiento familiar y
la algarabía típica de alguien que rie mucho.
Se fué volando cuando empezó a calentar la isla británica.

Los padres de los niños recordarán por siempre el día
que tuvieron la oportunidad de salir solos
y recordar lo divertido que es
el no tener niños por un par de horas.

Memé Poppins

Avery and Matt hired Memé Poppins for 20 days.
She arrived flying just as the snow was arriving to England.
She brought with her:
ultra-tropical family warmth to keep the house cozy,
exceptional experience in baby swaying,
unbreakable patience with tamtrumy children,
advise of mother and wife,
family planning consulting services
and the usual joy that comes with laughter.
She left flying when the warming trend began in the British Isles.

The children's parents will always remember the day
in which they had the opportunity of going out
alone with no children in-tow
and remembered what fun it is
to be together and play worry-free.

Dia de Reyes en Henley - Day of The Kings in Henley

Dia de Reyes y amaneció nevando y en Inglaterra nadie pudo ir a trabajar. Eso significa que hay que salir a jugar.

Unos chicos se pusieron a hacer un muñeco de nieve y por de mas de dos horas lo estuvieron armando. Como 11 pies de estatura. Avery se asomó por la ventana y les tiró una de sus bufandas para que se la pusieran. Matt lanzó un sombrero y Felix se deshizo de cinco de sus pelotas plásticas para hacer de botones. Este hombre de nieve es ahora famoso y todo el que pasa se toma fotos con él. Nosotros nos tomamos fotos con el tambien.

Luego fuimos a caminar al otro lado del rio subiendo una colina para tirarnos. Felix caminaba a paso de tortuga asi que nos tomó un largo tiempo llegar. Ibamos como pastorcitos junto con un rebaño de otras familias mas.

En el río vimos a unos locos remando en la tormenta. En el video tambien veran a otra loca en gris tirándose de barriga con una tabla colina abajo. Esa es Avery! Y la que hace volteretas, tambien es ella! Y la que hizo el angel en la nieve tambien es Avery. Wow ¡cómo gozamos!

Mientras tanto Didi durmió entre risas y ventizca.

Day of The Kings in Henley

On The Day of The Kings we woke up to snow and nobody was able to get to work or school which means you have to go out and play.

Some kids started early making a snowman and after 2 hours of work they completed a close to 11 feet tall man. Avery looked out the window and gave them one of her scarves and Matt offered a hat and Felix gave them 4 of his plastic balls to place as buttons. This Henley Snowman is now famous and everyone wants to have their picture taken with him including us, of course.

After pictures we went across the river to go up the hill so we can do some sliding. We walked at Felix's turtle pace and after a long time we made it to the top of the hill. On the way we saw some wild rowers in the river and in the video you'll also notice a wild downhill tummy down grey figure sliding almost into the trees. That's Avery. And the one cartwheeling away, is Avery too!. And the one who made a snow angel, thants Avery too! We had a great time.

In the meatime Didi slept, among laughter and blizzard.
